Why Crossroads?
At Crossroads, we partner with the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to connect children in foster care to the families, individuals, and opportunities they need to thrive. We recruit new foster families from local churches, develop them into competent caregivers for kids who have experienced trauma through training in Trust Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), and support them through the ups and downs of their journey as foster parents.
Want to learn more about the support we provide for foster families?
This one hour zoom meeting is led by Crossroads staff and provides general information about foster care, Crossroads, DCFS, and the certification process. While attending doesn’t commit you to anything yet, this meeting serves as your first step in the certification process.
